There are fewer women than men in SAA and pamphlets have been created for women and for men to help women feel comfortable and stay in recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Women in the program felt they wanted to hear from women when they came to SAA, so they have written a leaflet to welcome you &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/saa-recovery.org\/literature\/a-special-welcome-to-the-woman-newcomer-from-other-women-members-of-saa\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/saa-recovery.org\/literature\/a-special-welcome-to-the-woman-newcomer-from-other-women-members-of-saa\/\">A Special Welcome to the Woman Newcomer<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">All women newcomers are different and will need different things, but this is a good place to start in welcoming women. <a href=\"https:\/\/saa-recovery.org\/literature\/safe-and-sexually-sober-meetings-helping-women-feel-welcome-in-your-meeting\/\">Safe and Sexually Sober Meetings<\/a> \u2013 Helping Women Feel Welcome in Your Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/saa-recovery.org\/literature\/pi-cpc-series-hope-healing-women\/\">Hope and Healing for Women<\/a> leaflet provides stories from women of their addictions and their journey to recovery proving their is hope and we can heal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/saa-recovery.org\/literature\/getting-started-in-sex-addicts-anonymous-a-beginners-packet-for-recovering-sex-addicts\/\">Beginner&#8217;s Welcome Packet<\/a> is a series of leaflets to provide everything you need to know for newcomers of every gender. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">These pamphlets are available for free online using the links above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">You can also purchase them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-list\">\n<li>from in-person meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>from websites eg the SAA Store or from some local Intergroups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:30%\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-small-font-size is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cReading recovery literature is another important tool of the program.
